Kevin Fiala recorded his fourth assist of the season in the 5-1 game between the Los Angeles Kings and Nino Niederreiter’s Winnipeg Jets.

On his way to his side’s first win of the season, shortly after halftime, he provided the assist for Pierre-Luc Dubois, who scored his first goal for the California team against his former team. Niederreiter was on the ice for Winnipeg for more than 13 minutes and had no decisive influence. The Graubünden player has one assist after three games.

Clear defeat for Josi

It was a clear defeat for Roman Josi and the Nashville Predators. The Bernese captain was once again on the ice for the longest time for the Tennessee team in the 1:6 against the Edmonton Oilers, with more than 23 minutes, but remained without a goal score. And a penalty from the 33-year-old spelled his team’s demise as he watched the first goal conceded from inside the penalty area. Nashville trailed 4-0 after the first period. Leon Draisaitl and Zach Hyman starred for Edmonton with four points each. For the Predators it is the third loss in the fourth game.

Janis Moser with Arizona (0:1 against the New York Islanders) and Pius Suter with Vancouver (0:2 against Philadelphia) also had no experience of success. While the Coyotes lost for the second time in a row, it was the Canucks’ first loss of the season in the third game. (SDA/men)
