The first snapshots of the two flirting Swiss sports personalities appeared on Instagram and there is now no doubt about their love. Both Fetscherin and Steffen have been married once and the former fencer also has a child from his first marriage.
Steffen left the sports stage in 2021 and can look back on an extremely successful career. In 2018 he won the gold medal at the World Championships in China, and the year before the Basel native was able to celebrate a silver medal in Germany. Steffen also celebrated successes at the Olympic Games, in 2016 he reached the semi-finals in Rio de Janeiro, but in the end it was not enough for a medal. (sbe)
