Alessandra Keller missed the repeat of the World Cup final victory on the short course. A 14th place in the final in Mont-Sainte-Anne in Canada is not enough. Keller was in the leading group for a long time in the last World Cup races of the season over the short distance, but was unable to keep up in the closing stages.

Laura Stigger was the first to reach the goal, for the third time this year in this format. The Austrian won ahead of France’s Loana Lecomte and Australia’s Rebecca Henderson.

The best-placed Swiss woman was Sina Frei in ninth place. Olympic champion Jolanda Neff finished twelfth.

The Dutch Puck Pieterse secured victory in the general short track classification, after previously also winning the cross-country classification. (SDA/mom)
