The victory in Snowshoe was secured by Austria’s Laura Stigger, who was victorious in a cross-country race in the World Cup for the first time. Jolanda Neff makes a strong comeback at the seventh stop of this World Cup season. The woman from Eastern Switzerland makes up position after position and ultimately becomes the best Swiss woman in fifth place.
Their season thus far has been largely disappointing. 6th place at the beginning of July in Val di Sole, Italy, was the only outlier for the three-time World Cup winner this year.
