Kriens-Luzern was embarrassed by bottom team Kreuzlingen in the 4th round of the NLA handball championship. The play-off finalist lost the victory in the final phase and had to settle for a draw (25:25).

The team from Lucerne had to settle for a draw against Wacker Thun. Andy Schmid, who has been injured since the play-off final, is still missing from Kriens.
St. Otmar St. Gallen achieved its first victory of the season. The traditional club defeated Chênois Genève with 37:28. Only after the break (4:15 PM) were the Eastern Swiss able to shake off their nervousness. Within fifteen minutes the lead grew to ten goals.
