Alessandra Keller (27) secured the only Swiss podium finish on the short course during the Mountain Bike World Cup in Les Gets. Litscher has to settle for 7th place
In the men’s, the French Victor Koretzky and Jordan Sarrou secured a double victory for the locals. Thomas Litscher (34) was slowed in the final corner in the battle for a podium place and finished as the best Swiss in 7th.
Numerous top drivers did not start, including the Swiss Nino Schurter and Jolanda Neff or the French world champion Pauline Ferrand-Prévot. On Sunday they all have to appear at the start in the classic cross-country. (SDA/b)
