Rins takes spectacular MotoGP Australia win, Moto3 title for Guevara
Alex Rins cleverly won the Australian Grand Prix in MotoGP. The Spaniard started tenth, passed everyone and was just too quick on fellow Suzuki, Marc Márquez, who took his hundredth podium of his career.
In a race that started with some daring overtaking manoeuvres, Rins only took the lead from Francesco Bagnaia on the last lap, who even dropped back to third place. The Italian couldn’t really regret it: Bagnaia took over the lead of the standings due to the loss of defending champion Fabio Quartararo.

The MotoGP season still has two races to go. The procession will take place in Malaysia next weekend. The last Grand Prix will take place in Valencia on November 6th.
Guevara wins Moto3
The world champion is already known in the Moto3 class. Izan Guevara booked his sixth win of the year and is no longer to be tracked down. The 18-year-old Spaniard finished eighth in the final standings last year.
Alonso López took the win in Moto2. Bo Bendsnyder finished tenth after starting from 17th place. The Dutchman thus scored six points for the overall standings. The other Dutch rider in Moto2, Zonta van den Goorbergh, did not show up at the start. He broke his wrist in the first free practice session on Friday.
