Switzerland wins a medal at the World Triathlon Sprint Championships in the mixed team relay race for the first time in twelve years. The quartet with Max Studer (27), Julie Derron (27), Sylvain Fridelance (28) and Cathia Schär (21) took third place in Hamburg.

In the absence of a team from France, which has won the last three world championships, Germany secures the title for New Zealand.
