UEFA fined Barcelona 500,000 euros

Europe’s highest body believes they have misreported fees during the 2022 business year.

UEFA’s Club Financial Control Committee (CFCB) fined this Friday with €500,000 to FC Barcelona for misreporting profits during the 2022 financial year.it is stated in the press release of the entity itself.

The first chamber of the HFCB has published a series of decisions affecting the clubs that were the subject of the last control fair play financially in the 2022/23 season. In it, FC Barcelona appears as a club punished with €500,000 for misreporting benefits during the academic year 2022. In addition, the chamber fined Manchester United €300,000 for minor balance sheet deficits.

On the other hand, the Chamber concluded that Paris Saint-Germain, AC Milan, AS Monaco, AS Roma, Inter Milan or Olympique de Marseille, among others, have met the targets set for the financial year 2022. Nevertheless, the CFCB will continue to monitor compliance with the contract about the settlement during the coming season.
