Haris Seferovic (31) continues his career in the United Arab Emirates. The Swiss international leaves Benfica and signs a contract with Al-Wasl that runs until 2025.
Seferovic has been with Benfica since 2017 before being loaned out for six months to Galatasaray Istanbul and Celta Vigo last season. The 31-year-old striker still had a contract for next season with the Portuguese, with whom he was top scorer in the 2018/19 season. Nothing is yet known about the amount of the transfer fee for the U17 world champion.
With his new adventure in the Emirates, Haris Seferovic should have ended his international career. He played 93 games for the Swiss national team, scoring 25 times. Most recently, younger players like Zeki Amdouni under Murat Yakin had been favored in the storm. (SDA/SME)
