The newcomers in Sion, which has been relegated from the Super League, have not just signed an annual contract. Here’s how: We finance the stadium with the first 166 apartments to be sold. After that, another 420 apartments will be sold. The third tranche, another 420 apartments, will then become rental properties. They will become the property of a foundation yet to be established.”

Of the rental income, nine million Swiss francs go to the club annually via this foundation. That is the average amount Constantin has invested in the club season after season to fund professional operations. “So that replaces my previous patronage,” says CC.
