According to a statement from the French Formula 1 racing team, the total investment is 200 million euros, raising the value of Alpine Racing to 900 million euros.
Co-investors include Reynolds’ fellow players Michael B. Jordan and Rob McElhenney, with whom he co-owns Welsh football club AFC Wrexham. The club was recently promoted to the fourth highest English league.
Alpine CEO Laurent Rossi describes the alliance as an “important step to improve our performance at all levels”.
He also emphasizes: “We will reinvest the incremental profits back into the team in order to execute our plan, which aims to compete with the top teams in state-of-the-art facilities and equipment.” (SDA)
