The interdisciplinary basketball symposium Basketology is coming to Arteixo

The conference, which will be held this weekend, is divided into theoretical lectures and practical classes intended for players, coaches and fans.

Basketology comes to Arteixo. This weekend, an international basketball symposium will be held: two days of talks and practical classes intended not only for players and coaches, but also for all kinds of fans.

After it was held in Lugo last year, the Arteixo Council, the Arteixo Basketball Club and the Basketball Group came together to host a new edition of this event that brings together top professionals from the world of basketball. 75% of the work load of the symposium takes place in presentations and joint debate tables.

This Friday, July 30, after the reception of the participants and the official opening, the first master class. This will deliver up to Chema Buceta, sports psychologist, and will last about an hour. During this day, which starts at 5:00 p.m., other experts such as Arnau Moreno (head of plays students from 2021) or Juanma Rodríguez (Sports Director of Unicaja).

On Saturday, the day will start at 9:30 a.m. with a joint workshop between Álex Gordillo, an expert in sports psychology who has worked for Endesa League clubs, and Antonio Pérez, the coach of Alicante from LEB Oro. It will be an intensive day, with workshops and master class until 8 p.m. Among all the presentations, that of Nacho Rodríguez, ex general manager basketball sections of Barcelona. On Sunday, before the four-way final table, participants will be able to enjoy five workshops.
