“2023 will be a great year. We’re expanding!» With these words, Kjetil Jansrud (37) announced in January that he would become a father for the second time.
Now the baby is here. As the former Norwegian ski star announced on social media, he and his wife Benedicte Isabel have become parents.
The girl’s name is Iben and she was born on June 20. “Everything is good in the family. The four of us enjoy life,” Jansrud writes about the sweet snaps.
Proud big sister
The proud big sister is also happy with the birth. In one photo, Froya, who will be three years old at the end of July, gently strokes Iben’s head and observes it closely. The new father of two is also proud. Namely on his wife, as Jansrud emphasizes in his Instagram story.
The Jansruds celebrated their dream wedding in Norway last August, and now their love has reached its next peak. World champion and Olympic champion
The former speed demon Jansrud is one of Norway’s most successful skiers. In his career he achieved 23 World Cup victories, won the Olympic gold in the Super-G in 2014 and became the Downhill World Champion in 2019. In his villa in the west of Oslo there are also four small crystal balls for the Downhill World Cup (2015) and those in the Super-G (2015, 2017 and 2018).
