Daniela Ryf wins the triathlon classic in Roth with a world record time. The 36-year-old from Solothurn needed 8 hours, 8 minutes and 21 seconds on Sunday to swim 3.8 kilometers, cycle 180 kilometers and run 42 kilometers. No woman has ever been faster.

Ryf beat former triathlete Chrissie Wellington’s 2011 record by nearly ten minutes. The Brit also set her record in Roth. Ryf’s personal best of 2016 was 8 hours 22 minutes and 4 seconds.
