The midfielder said goodbye to the albivermello team
Juampe Jiménez says goodbye to Lugo, a club for which he has only words of praise. “In Lugo, I found a second home and a family made up of great people with whom I had the good fortune to share many experiences. For this reason, before we part ways, I want to thank you for all the love you have given me. Whether we won, drew or lost, I always tried to do my best, working hard in every game, in every training session, for this club”, comments one of the leading players of the Albivermello team.
Juampe defined his time at Lugo as his “best years as a professional”. Also, thinking about the upcoming season, the midfielder wished Lugo “greatest victories in the future” and promotion to the Second League.
Juampe spent three seasons in Lugo. He played 89 games for the Rojiblanco team, 15 of which as a starter, and scored 5 goals. This campaign was the one in which he played the least due to the ankle injury he suffered on January 8 against Sporting de Gijón at Ángel Carro and after which he reappeared against the Asturians in El Molinón 19 days later and was unable to help the team achieve durability.
