Skier Stefan Luitz is in love.

Many ski stars use the time after the season for their private happiness. So is Stefan Luitz (31), who (again) married his wife Sarah.

Officially, the two married at the end of May 2021, now followed by the church wedding near Bludenz (A). The German giant slalom specialist shows his marital happiness on Instagram. Luitz tagged his post with the hashtag “Because you are the love of my life”. Since September 2021, they are also the parents of little Leano.

Highlight after “extremely difficult season”

For the native of Bavaria it is undeniably the highlight of the year so far. Because he wasn’t athletic at all. Luitz was classified three times in the World Cup points, his best result is 20th place in the giant slalom in Adelboden.

After his fall in the first series of Kranjska Gora in mid-March, he ended the season early, saying “It was an extremely difficult season for me … I will now calmly think about the next steps.”

Luitz’s last top-ten finish was more than two years ago, so far he has won a World Championship giant (Beaver Creek 2018). (che)
