Johannes Thingnes Bö registers a month full of accidents

Happiness in disguise for Johannes Thingnes Bö. After the biathlon dominator was bitten by a snake, the hospital quickly determined that there was no longer any danger. “Let’s hope the snake gives me the same magical super powers as Spiderman’s spider bite,” Bö joked after the minor gardening incident.

The preparations for the season of the 17-time world champion and five-time Olympic champion are not without problems. Only recently, while exercising on his roller skis at his house, Bö fell on a special treadmill and crashed into a wall. He also reported a fall on a trampoline, which led to back problems. An eye infection also limited him in the meantime. The incidents do not cause him serious concern. “It’s been a tough month,” said the overall World Cup winner.

There is still plenty of time for the World Cup winter. The season starts at the end of November in Östersund, Sweden, with the first World Cup. (SDA/Mom)
