Ludovic Waeber leaves Switzerland and moves to the US.

Next season, Ludovic Waeber will be a member of the organization of the Florida Panthers, who currently trail the Vegas Golden Knights 3-1 in the Stanley Cup Finals. General Manager Bill Zito announced the 26-year-old goalkeeper’s one-year contract on Monday.

Waeber played the past three seasons with the ZSC Lions. The five-time Swiss national player’s contract with the National League club runs until 2024/25.

After striker Denis Malgin (26) and goalie Reto Berra (36), Waeber could become the third Swiss to play a game for the Panthers. (yup)
