Andy Diouf was honored for his strong performances in the European Cup.

Diouf’s performances contributed significantly to FCB’s advance to the semi-finals in the Conference League. The 20-year-old Frenchman has three goals and two assists this season.

He was also selected in the starting eleven for the season by UEFA along with teammate Dan Ndoye. Declan Rice received the best player award from winner West Ham United. Basel’s Zeki Amdouni and former FCB striker Arthur Cabral of Fiorentina were the top scorers in Europe’s third highest club competition with seven goals each.

Welcome rise in market value for the FCB trio

The strong international performances of the three youngsters should be welcome at the Rheinknie. All three are also considered substitute candidates this summer. Whether they are even more expensive thanks to their individual awards on the international stage? After FCB had to say goodbye to three top players, any further departure hurts – but transfers that are in line with the market would make a farewell a lot more bearable. (SDA/dti)
