He won first place after the Montefaro race, which was held in the cities of Ares and Mugardos
He Naronés cyclist Marco Veiga took the lead in Enduro Spanish Cup in the general classification. The competition ended at the weekend with the celebration of the Montefaro race, in Ares and Mugardos.
The route consisted of five time sections with their respective link sectors and allowed Naronés to confirm his first place, with a total of 698 points ahead of Álex Iscla, who finished with 555, and Mauro González, with 552.
The cyclist expressed his satisfaction with this new title, as well as the absolute runner-up in Spain achieved this season, after finishing second in the test held in La Palma last April, in which Edgar Carballo won over Veiga by 26 seconds.
Naročanin, who eventually took the victory in the elite category, depended on winning the national title in the Spanish Cup, as he had a difference of 55 points compared to the runner-up before the test.

“I’m very happy to get second place in Spain and an elite victory this year outdoors, although it was never easy, fighting with very fast runners”, the athlete pointed out after winning the gold cup competition. In addition, Veiga wanted to thank his family, sponsors and friends for their support, “patience in the most difficult periods of the year”, reflected the Naronés after the sporting event.
