The projects of the participating cities aim to relieve the inner cities of private motorized transport by means of a new tax. In addition, the passenger volume in public transport with different prices during rush hours and during off-peak hours must be better controlled, as the communication also shows. That is also the aim of the SBB project idea.

The project idea for the cantons of Aargau and Zug is about testing people’s price sensitivity. It remains to be seen whether pilot projects will also be carried out after the feasibility studies.
