“Tagi” loses his nerve

The financial sector is angry about the new book ‘The pension debacle’, which shows how they have gambled away our pensions. Even worse, she finds a video by influencer Flavien Gousset, who summarizes the core statements. The clip goes right through the roof.

State Councilor Andri Silberschmidt refuted this with a video – it did not go viral. Then the FDP man offered the influencer a debate. He cancelled. Whereupon the “Tages-Anzeiger” intervened and urged him in the newspaper to take on Silberschmidt. The influencer canceled again: he had read a book and reported on it.

However, unlike Silberschmidt, he has not been involved with the subject for years. Gousset referenced the authors of the book – one of whom is the author of this article. The two offered Silberschmidt an argument. But now it was the National Council of the FDP that rejected it.

The authors have heard nothing from the “Tages-Anzeiger”. Instead, the newspaper posted a gloss yesterday that portrayed the influencer as a loud mouth afraid of the debate.
This is cheap journalism that does not only harm Gousset. Such methods discredit the entire media industry.
