An alliance of pro-European organizations wants to anchor active European cooperation in the constitution and thus obtain a fundamental EU decision from the people and the cantons. The signature collection for the Europe initiative started on Tuesday.
The federal popular initiative “For a strong Switzerland in Europe (Europe Initiative)” wants to create a new constitutional article for active European integration.
