Nearly sixteen years after the start of negotiations on the Free Trade Agreement between the EFTA states and India, the agreement was signed on Sunday by Economy Minister Parmelin, his EFTA colleagues and the Indian Minister of Trade.
Federal Councilor Guy Parmelin and his colleagues from Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway signed a free trade agreement with Indian Trade Minister Piyush Goyal in Delhi on Sunday, the Federal Ministry of Economy, Education and Research (EAER) announced.
Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Swiss Federal President Viola Amherd accompanied the signing with video messages.
