Curious encounter between SP-Badran and SP-Nordmann: two suffering comrades in the snow

The SP state councilors Jacqueline Badran and Roger Nordmann met by chance in the mountains – both on crutches.

A comrade knows no pain! At least not if his name is Jacqueline Badran (62) or Roger Nordmann (50). Like many parliamentarians, the two National Council members are enjoying a few days off from politics between Christmas and New Year – away from the Federal Palace, committee meetings and legislative articles. For the people of Vaud and Zurich, enjoyment is relative. And also the distance from the political gang.

Because, as a photo posted by Badran on Because both are currently on crutches. They met completely by chance – “no joke” – Badran writes about the photo.

Where the two injured fellow sufferers met remains a secret. And what exactly led to them both having to spend their free time on crutches, but of course still enjoying traveling in the mountains. Did former ski instructor Badran (also the “no joke” one!) hurt her knee in a fall? Was energy politician Nordmann blinded by a solar panel and sprained his foot? It remains wild speculation. Roger Nordmann did not want to reveal anything further when asked. And Jacqueline Badran also leaves with a short greeting via X.

The photo caused some reactions there. Bernese EPP national councilor Marc Jost immediately sent his best wishes for a speedy recovery. And health expert Felix Schneuwly of the comparison service Comparis aptly wishes: “Break your neck and leg in 2024!” (lha)
