On her channels she calls on her base to watch a documentary on Swiss television. One ‘worth seeing’, as the party writes. Even an ‘impressive’ one, as one SVP politician tweeted.
The SVP loves the film so much that the assignment is given via an online link: “Watch now”. 1 hour, 37 minutes and 11 seconds long.
And this at a time when the Sünneli party has only one battle cry: “Halve! Halve! Halve SRG!”
Less praise goes to SRF
But the praise goes less to SRF than to the SVP themselves, and specifically to their father Christoph Blocher (83).
On Wednesday, Swiss television showed the documentary ‘Christoph Blocher – Living and fighting for his Switzerland’. In it, the former federal councilor talks about his youth, the chemistry of Ems and his path to politics.
And Blocher is also confronted with his controversial political style, as SRF emphasizes in its synopsis. You want to remain critical.
