The Zurich young liberal David Noser (19) has announced his resignation from the party. He is the son of former councilor Ruedi Noser (62). David Noser was criticized for his election advice for the second round of elections for the Council of States.
Noser spoke out in support of the Green Liberal Tiana Angelina Moser (44) and campaigned for her. The FDP and Noser’s father support SVP member Gregor Rutz (51). Noser wrote on the short message service X on Monday that there were “irreconcilable differences between my positions and the positions of JF/FDP.”
The liberals are inferior to the lobbyists and right-wing conservatives in the FDP, Noser writes. Other opinions are “treated illiberally.”
He will communicate at a later date whether he will remain active in party politics. Noser ran for the National Council on the list of Young Liberals. His father was a member of the Zurich National Council from 2003 to 2015. Since then he has been a member of the Council of States. He was no longer running in 2023. (SDA)
