Zurich mayors warn: will asylum seekers soon have to sleep in army tents?

In 2015, army tents were used as temporary mobile asylum accommodation in Aarau.

Many municipalities in Zurich have almost exhausted their options for hosting refugees, as Jörg Künd, president of the Association of Municipal Councils, said at a media conference on Friday. “If the number of asylum seekers continues to rise, the army tent will become a problem.”
