In its resolution adopted at the end of June, the Audit Committee of the National Council (GPK-N) criticized the use of scientific findings by the federal authorities during the corona pandemic. The Federal Council published its statement on this matter on Tuesday.

Like the supervisory authority, the state government also sees opportunities for improvement in public communication and in the development of a scientific network, as it wrote: “The Federal Council accepts all the recommendations of the GPK-N from the report and is prepared to implement them to take. in the work already underway.”

For example, the eight GPK-N recommendations will be implemented in the ongoing revision of the Epidemics Act.
