Solothurn, Schaffhausen, Thurgau, Aargau, Schwyz and now Bern: Mass-voll, the movement of the critics of the Corona measures, now appears in six cantons. In Bern, Mass-voll, led by founder Nicolas A. Rimoldi (28), has a chance to win the 24 seats with a list connection with six other small parties.
Among them is a name known in the canton of Bern: the list connection also includes the civic cities and countries list with top candidate Madeleine Amstutz (44). The SVP politician was not on her own party’s list because of an expense affair in her municipality of Sigriswil BE.
There is even a Swiss abroad
Although own party now seems rather exaggerated. Amstutz is still a member of SVP Bern. But she ran with her own list in both the municipal elections in Sigriswil and the general elections in Bern. Each time because she was not nominated by the SVP.
The Bern EDU, other critics of measures called Aufrecht, the Swiss Democrats and “Los Normalos” and Philipp Jutzi, a Swiss living abroad and living in Bangkok, also collaborate with Amstutz bourgeois city and country list and Mass-voll.
And that should bear fruit: the list connection aims for at least two seats in the National Council. So far, Mass-voll has largely merged with other small parties. The exception is Solothurn, where Rimoldi works with the SVP. There could also be a list connection with the SVP in Lucerne. (sf)
