Juso Vice President Mirjam Hostetmann, Virginia Köpfli von Campax, SP Women’s Central Secretary Julia Baumgartner, Juso President Nicola Siegrist, JUSO Central Secretary Rosalina Müller call for the concert to be cancelled.

The two weekend Rammstein concerts in Wankdorf in Bern were met with harsh criticism: Juso, together with other organizations, is now demanding the cancellation of the performances on June 17 and 18. Party chairman Nicola Siegrist (26) and his colleagues wanted to hand over a petition signed by 7,500 people to the organizers on Tuesday afternoon demanding that Till Lindemann (60) and his band members not be on the Swiss stage. But: nobody wanted to accept this from Gadget ABC.

Nicola Siegrist explains: “Thousands of people across Switzerland and Europe are demanding that we, victims of sexual violence, finally believe. This must also be done in Bern at Rammstein. Finally cancel these concerts!” The performance of the concerts is not in the interests of the safety of the visitors. It was a slap in the face to all victims of sexual violence.

Serious accusations against Till Lindemann

Rammstein frontman Till Lindemann is suspected of recruiting young women for sexual services with the help of employees. This became public when a concertgoer reported on her experiences in the so-called Row Zero: women should be systematically invited to experience Rammstein concerts in front of the stage and celebrate with the band. Again and again it should have come to abuse of power for sexual favors on the part of Lindemann. The band has repeatedly denied the allegations. (bnr)
