The manager of Pazo de Feiras pointed out that “it is excellent news to see how the fair is consolidating its attractiveness”.

The 16th edition of the Galicia International Horse Show has ended morphological competition ungulates. The organization Pazo de Feiras e Congresos de Lugo confirmed that in the last three weeks the exhibition organized by Equigal was visited by a total of 15,000 people. An exhibition that continues to establish itself as a leader in its sector.

The figures, similar to last year’s, show that it has certainly established itself among the most attractive in the north of the peninsula, especially since in this edition the activities lasted only three weeks instead of the fourteenth edition. In this regard, the manager of Pazo de Feiras, Rubén López, pointed out that “excellent news to check how Equigal consolidates its attractiveness in the national calendar. If we add the attractions of the city to the interest of the competition itself, we get numbers that are satisfactory, like more than 15,000 people who passed through Lugon in the last three weeks”.

Two attractive female leaders who determined the number of participants for consolidation were promoted to the international category of the Purebred Arab Morphoxic Contest. More than 150 specimens offered an equal beauty show on the second weekend in which Gerda, by Bernat Tolra Cros, was the best specimen of the competition. In addition to the Arabian competition, a purebred Galician competition was held, in which Pitufiño, from Celta, Adrián Mariño and Gali de Oz, Lina Freire, won.

The increase in the number of applications for the State Jumping Competition by 20 percent is another two events of this edition, along with equestrian baptisms, which gathered more than 200 schoolchildren from Lugo.
