How do you feel about Roger Keppel? The day before yesterday, a Russian cruise missile hit a residential building in the central Ukrainian city of Uman. Among the 23 dead are several children.
At the same time, the SVP of the National Council and the head of the Weltwohe were in Moscow and smiled at the camera along with Putin’s most aggressive propagandist Vladimir Solovyov. “Smart, funny, Russian Woody Allen,” Solovyov’s new Swiss acquaintance responded enthusiastically.
It’s understandable: someone is looking for the role of a provocateur. But is it worth keeping silent or criticizing the eternally new taboos?
Parent guides can be helpful. “Children’s defiant behavior – how to deal with it?” says kindergesundheit-info.de.
Let’s replace “your child” with Roger Keppel:
“Give Roger Keppel enough freedom to engage in age-appropriate events and use his curiosity.”
Further: “Pay as little attention as possible to the ‘tantrum’ as long as it does not endanger Roger Keppel, and try to remain as calm as possible.”
And another valuable piece of advice: “Always tell Roger Keppel that you don’t like a certain situation and a certain behavior, but don’t reject it yourself.”
Familien Handbuch.de, in turn, advises: “hysterics should be given as little attention as possible.”
So let’s try and hope.
