In Windisch, tenants must clear their apartments of migrants. This is a short version of the escalation of events in the canton of Aargau. The residents are crying, the authorities are sorry – Switzerland is participating. For what?

In an act of political limitation? Worse yet: the consequences of destructive thoughtlessness. Where frivolity is an elegant paraphrase of stupidity, and stupidity is the result of many years of ignorance.

After all, as a politician, who really wants to know what the problems are?
hidden behind terms such as refugee, protection seeker, asylum seeker or migrant? How much social explosion has been brewing over the years?

Blick closed its comment columns to readers this week. Because: “On certain topics such as asylum, migration, etc., the vast majority of comments cannot be published because they are hasty, racist, or subject to prosecution.”

Bad people!

What about good people? Where is it? What does it do

It celebrates the culture of hospitality for migrants from Asia to Africa, always paying attention to the social problems of developing countries, which today fall under the keyword “Global South”. Of course, with an obligatory skeptical view of the socially successful Western world, i.e. on his world, not least on the “old white man”, the culprit of all inequality.

So the globe is neatly divided into good and bad, just as Switzerland is neatly divided into good and bad, as seen in the Windisch case and the reaction on social media.

This is the order of battle that the politicians agreed on: left of center, glowing red and green, fighting spirit. The centre-right, especially the extreme right, the hopeless immorality, the clash of people flocking to the countryside in search of a better social future, and local residents who have worked hard to improve social conditions, creates a cultural conflict of this world. and this time you can see even that from Switzerland.

In Windisch, this caused an uproar.

What is housing? The most intimate culture, the most personal right, security, home, belonging. What is the authoritarian decreed loss of this comfortable bourgeoisie? Blatant injustice.

Don’t accept!

But this is how immigration has been going on for years: when foreigners and cultures invade everyday life in the neighborhood, in tenements, in schools, everywhere where people meet people they like, enjoy a better life in the hope of a better world. the world already.

Long-time citizens are expected to integrate newcomers, migrants, by living together in a public space, door-to-door, desk-to-desk, because Swiss schoolchildren are also required to teach new classmates a foreign language and bizarre parenting with their local children’s and youth culture – instead of knives in the school yard, games and conversations, instead of discrimination against all women, gender equality, instead of oppression of the weak, justice and freedom.

Yes, the younger generation bears a great burden, a great responsibility – but they have never realized this requirement.

But migrants are an asset! So it echoes from the left-green echo chamber to the narrow chambers of ordinary tenants and students – to the world of the humble hardworking and underpaid.

The welcome fanfare is loud enough for everyone to hear. The only thing lacking in people constantly irradiated with ultrasound is faith in the idyll of an immigration society. He experiences reality—his reality! – Completely different. He experiences difficulties and incompatibilities, frictions and struggles, his own prejudices and those of aliens.

Together with migrants, one has to master life itself. Meanwhile, the left-green teachers are watching this difficult exercise from above and from afar, their brows furrowed pedagogically and their brows raised. What does it mean to look? All the while raising a moral cautionary finger, they follow what is happening in the neighborhoods of the proletarian class.

Because there, away from their urban residential development, strangers should be accepted. That means: not in their fashionable neighborhoods, not even in their schools with a small proportion of foreigners.

It would be even nicer – migrants in elite housing estates of comrades and greens! They like to play the role of the inviter. But – God forbid! – not the same as the owners.

Unloaded elsewhere.

For example in Windisch.
