In my continued commitment to serving our beloved nation, I am pleased to present my third proposal: rigorous oversight of the delivery of financial aid, seed capital, and school scholarships.
Over the past five years, the supervisory role he has held National Assembly of Deputies left a lot to be desired. Lack of transparency and accountability in the management of funds allocated to different entities, such as Administration for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (AMPYME), Institute for Training and Use of Human Resources (IFARHU) and Panama Sports Institute (PANDEPORTES), it caused mistrust and concern among our citizens.
That’s why we propose establishing annual inspection periods for these entities. It is imperative that state funds intended for economic support to our entrepreneurs, students and athletes are used appropriately and efficiently.
We cannot allow politicking and clientelism to undermine efforts to promote educational, sporting and business excellence in our country. In this sense, we are committed to guaranteeing transparency in the process of awarding financial support, school scholarships, capital and aid for sports. Enough of gambling and bad practices that damaged the reputation of our institutions.
It is time to prioritize merit in the distribution of these resources, ensuring that they reach those who truly need them and can use them effectively. Our country deserves a public administration based on honesty, efficiency and commitment to the well-being of all Panamanians. As a future member of National Assembly, I pledge to work tirelessly to strengthen oversight and control mechanisms, ensuring that every penny of the public treasury is invested in projects that promote the development and prosperity of our nation.
In summary, my third proposal focuses on the urgent need to improve transparency and accountability in the provision of financial aid, seed capital and school scholarships. For transparent and effective oversight, vote for the transformation Panama needs!
