Jesus lives forever, because he came from The Father as the second person of the Holy Trinity, He was incarnate, and though he died, he rose again and dies no more. He is the same yesterday, today and forever. In it there is no expiration, no term, no end, but eternal life. He broke the bonds of death. To live forever.
He is full life, without the imperfections typical of a limited one. He is risen, so there are no limitations of ours in Him. He knows everything, he can do everything, nobody and nothing can catch him, stop him, harm him.
There are no tears or pain in him. There is not hunger or fatigue. He lived through all this on earth like us. But what he is experiencing now is a foreshadowing of what we will experience, of course, in our human reality of limited power, knowledge, and total dependence on God. We will continue in heaven as creatures, but participation in the divine glory, ecstatic, always thinking about the divine mystery, always new, surprising, unique, and this comes from God, whose source is divine, not ours. We will always rely on God. Throughout. There in heaven there will be no trace of arrogance, pride, because we will know who we are, who God is, and thinking about his infinite greatness, Greater humility will flow from us.
And the great news is that no one can take away the joy, the joy that is so huge, so beautiful, so unique, to be with God, to live in him, to experience complete happiness, always new, intense, eternal pleasure. It will be forever, and nothing and no one will be able to interrupt that fullness of joy. Having laid up treasures in heaven, as the Word says, where neither termites, nor thieves, nor any creature, nor sad event, nor destruction, nothing will be able to separate us from the love of God, we will see our sufferings. people as something insignificant in front of eternal life.
We will know what there complete happiness, what human beings have always dreamed of, longed for and manifested in the beliefs of many religions, in myths, in art, music, poetry and philosophy. Human beings have always wanted eternal life and want to last forever, and when they do not accept faith in God, they want to do so in works that remain, such as constructs, ideologies, or long-narrated events. It is a desire for
stay forever. Well, the Lord satisfies those desires with the resurrection of Christ and ours. Thanks to death Christ the Redeemer, The gates of heaven are open to us and eternal life is guaranteed to us by pure divine mercy. That’s great news.
