You are sitting again. You stick again. You’re annoying again. Climate activists blocked Utoquai in Zurich on Friday morning. This is the sixth such action in the last two weeks. And they threaten more.
This protest is stupid, its message is illogical.
Renovate Switzerland wants to do something for the climate. The state should allocate money for the vigorous repair of houses. But the activists block the roads. And, in turn, harass drivers. horns? The call for better insulated homes makes sense, and traffic blocking is bullshit squared.
Politicians will not fall for climate activists. Demands in Switzerland are not blackmailed, but are worked out democratically. This is already happening with the Glacier’s counter-proposal initiative. If activists still think that they are changing something, then they have green in their ears.
The only thing that sticks from these glue actions is the anger of ordinary citizens. Unlike sticky kids, they don’t want to sit around (in traffic), they want to go to work.
