Our project launches the first three digital tools for interaction in Galician between users and technological devices. It is the first multilingual neural translator made in Galicia or the first voice recognition that understands spoken Galician and converts it to text and a text-to-speech application that can be read in Galician. The USC and Xunta will continue to work on the recompilation of voices that reflect the great phonetic and dialectal diversity that exists in Galicia or that will allow the continued improvement of the current tool models, while new multilingual models will be developed in collaboration with equivalent projects for the other national languages.
The resources developed by us will be freely available to third parties or we will allow and facilitate or develop final products and services based on the Galician language by companies, institutions and organizations, public and private, that wish to do so.
