The impending vote on the introduction of the OECD minimum tax seems to upset politicians’ priorities – as happened with the SRF political program “Arena” last night.
While conservatives and representatives of the center vigorously campaigned for yes, the left-wing camp sharply criticized the bill. The bottom line: Three quarters of future additional income should stay in the cantons. Opponents fear that this will primarily benefit wealthy cantons and cantonal residents.
“I wouldn’t hit the reset button”

According to a Gfs poll conducted in mid-May, the majority of the Swiss population sided with Keller-Sutter and Grossen. 84% of respondents want to approve the proposal by June 18.
