At luxury goods group Richemont, management earned significantly more over the past fiscal year 2022/23. However, it was not CEO Jérôme Lambert who earned the most, but again CFO Burkhart Grund. (archive image)

According to the annual report released on Friday, CEO Lambert received a salary of CHF 7.98 million for the year 2022/23, after CHF 7.43 million the previous year. CHF 1.92 million of this relates to the flat fee.

CFO Grund even found a total of 12.95 million francs. The German, which collected 8.53 million last year, made a significant leap. After all, significantly higher jackpots flowed with it.

The salary of the entire management (Senior Executive Committee) has increased from CHF 15.96 million previously to CHF 21.78 million. Patricia Gandji and Bérangère Ruchat only rose to the board of directors during the year.

On the Board of Directors, Chairman and majority shareholder Johann Rupert was the top earner with a constant CHF 3.06 million. The entire board of directors, which was 7.26 million before, received 6.48 million francs. Two members of the Board of Directors resigned during the year and their wages were not taken into account.

The jewelery and watch group experienced a wave of success in 2022/23: Sales increased by 19 percent to nearly 20 billion euros. And operating profit rose by a third to 5.0 billion.
