Migros announced on Tuesday that it’s well above plan since Migros venture capitalist Sparrow Ventures launched in May. Yuno aims to use the fresh capital from the financing round to expand its customer base and continually expand its product line to include the latest consumer electronics.
Flexible contract duration
According to the announcement, more than 220 different electronic devices are currently available from Yuno. An important selling point for customers is the flexibility of the contract term. Devices can be tested for a set period of time or rented for special events such as a VR headset to immerse yourself in the virtual world or a modern projector for the upcoming World Cup.
sustainable concept
Migros emphasizes that the rental concept is also sustainable. In this way, the circular economy is supported by mobile phones, tablets or digital cameras that change hands many times throughout their life cycle. Yuno is currently purchasing products offered for rent from Migros company Digitec Galaxus.
