Passing Baby Boomers: Gen Z is rocking the job market.
Thomas Muller

Much is said about them, the consultations are dedicated to their needs. We are talking about today’s youth, called the Z generation. Because they will conquer the working world. This week’s federal employment numbers show that teens will surpass boomers this year.

Baby Boomer generation (born 1946-1964) is retiring and Generation Z (born 1997-2012) is coming of working age. In 2022, both generations will be almost equal.

The same is true for Generation X (1965-1980) and Generation Y (1981-1996). They recruited almost the same number of employees last year. This means that 2023 will be the year of the big turnaround in the labor market. So far, Gen-X and Boomer have dominated. However, while you are reading these lines, it may be time: Generation Y and Generation Z are now ahead in numbers.
