Heinz Huber, CEO of Raiffeisen Switzerland, earned exactly CHF 1,476 million in 2022. This corresponds to the value of the previous year, as stated by the agency “AWP”.
The variable portion of Huber’s salary was CHF 158,000. At Raiffeisen this is called “collective profit sharing”. This means that Raiffeisen takes a different path than many of its competitors, who pay millions in bonuses in the Swiss financial centre. Martin Scholl (60), former CEO of Zürcher Kantonalbank, received CHF 2.64 million in 2022. Both banks made a profit of more than one billion francs last year.
The gross salary of Huber is approximately 1.5 million Swiss francs. In addition, there are 24,000 francs in flat-rate expenses (same as in the previous year) and approximately 460,000 francs (previous year: 450,000 francs) as “employer contributions to employee benefits and social security”.
Members of the Board of Directors received a total of CHF 8.46 million. As can be seen from the annual report, 9.02 million francs were paid in the previous year. The board of directors received 2 million Swiss francs. Chairman of the Board Thomas Müller won 700,000 francs. Vice President Pascal Gantenbein received a basic salary of CHF 140,000 and committee fees of CHF 80,000. (rae)
