Mini Super Ocean Bowls, Mini Tacos and Grison Cured Meat Carpaccio – a wild mix from around the world, were on the menu for the “Breitling Kitchen” launch on the Geneva beach. It was composed by Colombian-French star conductor Juan Arbeláez, hired by Breitling boss Georges Kern.
When the restaurant opens to the public from mid-April, there will also be Peru’s national dish, Ceviche Tartare de Daurade, and drinks in the brand vibes of “Air”, “Land” and “Sea”. But: culinary art does not play the main role, it is a means to achieve the goal.
Kern fires up the next phase
And Kern explains: “We’re taking our values to the next level by creating social spaces where customers can experience Breitling’s famous everyday luxury.”
The watch business is going great, now it’s time for the next step: building a community, feeling the brand, tasting Breitling. The “Breitling Kitchen” in Geneva will offer everything from Tuesday to Saturday and from breakfast to nightcap.
Kitchen connected boutique
Inside, the restaurant looks the same as the adjacent boutique, complete with exposed brick walls and industrial chic furniture. Geneva is the third spot on the map for neo-catering entrepreneur Kern. A “Café” and “Kitchen No. 1” in Battersea, London. Their concept is like in Geneva: boutique with kitchen connection, boutique style interior, epicurean flavors prepared by a local expert.
In South Korea it is called Kim Hyeong-Kyu. And the restaurant is a detachable space in the two-story Breitling flagship store in Townhouse Hannam.
