This was announced on Tuesday by Ryanair rival, which is quite active in Switzerland. Easyjet boss Johan Lundgren raises the bar for the second time this year: “We see continued strong booking momentum for the summer as customers prioritize travel spending.” For the most important travel months, July-September, Easyjet wants to offer a similar number of flights in the summer of 2019 as before the pandemic.

Last quarter, Easyjet reached 15.6 million passengers, 35 percent more than a year ago when the pandemic hit businesses even harder. Machine utilization rose from 78 percent to 88 percent. Sales for the entire winter semester from October to March increased by 80 percent year-on-year to £2.7 billion.
