An error message appeared in CS e-banking on Sunday.

As if Credit Suisse didn’t have enough to worry about after its urgent takeover by UBS, a technical glitch also caused problems Sunday morning: CS’ online banking was temporarily unavailable. Customers received a corresponding error message on their e-banking login page.

“We are working to find a quick solution to the problem,” CS wrote there. In its e-banking bug report, CS apologized for the failure and thanked customers for their understanding.

The fault was fixed shortly after. “The cause of the outage was quickly identified and fixed,” the bank writes when asked by Blick. He does not comment on the reasons for the temporary failure.
