BLKB subsidiary Radicant fired CEO

The reason given is “a different understanding of leadership and communication”. There are now two co-CEOs on an interim basis: Rouven Leuener, product manager, and Roland Kläy, chief financial officer, will take over the management of the bank on an interim basis.

The imminent market entry of Radicant Bank represents an important milestone in the development of BLKB’s subsidiary, as quoted by Vice President Marco Primavesi in the press release. “The Board of Directors underscores the importance of this critical phase by appointing the new co-management of Rouven Leuener and Roland Kläy on an interim basis.”

Anders Bally, the laid-off Radicant CEO, made headlines recently after an internal email to employees said that he portrayed politicians in Basel as non-digital. According to the financial portal “Inside-Paradeplatz”, the email was sent because of a critical article in the Basel local newspaper BZ. (SDA)
