Former Bundestag Johann Schneider-Ammann (70) has a new passion. As of now he is the sole owner of the rustic, stately Hotel Alpenland in Lauenen, near Gstaad BE. After resigning from the Federal Council, Burgdorf took over the maintenance of the three-star superior hotel with medical entrepreneur Willy Michel (75). And he invested a lot of money.
