Despite the economically uncertain times, most respondents do not want to miss the upcoming winter holidays. But some will adjust their travel behavior after inflation, as Marketagent Switzerland said in a statement on Thursday.
According to the survey, the majority of 63 percent of respondents plan to take a vacation this winter. While most want to spend their winter holidays in Switzerland, only 16 percent want to go abroad.
Spend less on food
Nearly one-third of respondents said they plan to cut destination or on-site spending due to expected higher prices. For example, fewer visits to restaurants or less spending on skiing are planned.
According to the information obtained, a total of 1062 people participated in the survey. (SDA)
